PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Chorionic gonadotropin beta (HCG- beta) introduction:
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a glycoprotein hormone secreted by the placental syncytiotrophoblast cells. Its main function is: maintenance of corpus luteum and reduce maternal lymphocyte activity, preventing rejection of the fetus. HCG structure consists of two subunits, alpha and beta, subunit and LH, FSH, TSH approximation, especially larger immune cross reaction with LH, beta chain as its exclusive, beta subunit was used to preparing specific antibody determination of hCG in the blood, the proper name for hCG. HCG detection method has a variety of commonly used chemical light emitting method, radio immunity method (RIA) and immune gold standard test paper method.
Chorionic gonadotropin beta (HCG- beta) normal value:
Radio immunity method:
Pregnancy: 7 ~ 10 days >5.0mIU/ml.
30 days >100mIU/ml.
40 days >2000mIU/ml.
10 weeks >50 ~ 100mIU/ml.
16 weeks >10 ~ 50mIU/ml.
Clinical significance of chorionic gonadotropin beta (HCG- beta):
Rise: early pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, hydatidiform mole, choriocarcinoma, malignant mole.
